I was born in New Rochelle and grew up in Mount Vernon, New York. I have been drawing and writing stories for as long as I can remember. I do like to create new characters, whether it’s animals, people, monsters or aliens—nothing beats turning a blank piece of paper into art. I also like painting from time to time, watercolor has always been of favorite of mine.

As a kid, I grew up reading comic books, comic strips and the occasional picture books. This is where the spark was created within me to create my own characters. For whatever creative reason, I stumbled into cartooning, it's like a sixth sense for me, I loved it.

I often dreamt of having my characters star in their own animated series. The first was a yellow rodent named Ferald.

He was an upbeat and unruly ferret with a thirst for adventure. I gave him a few friends Pozzum, Birzy, Kingston and an elderly snake named Mr. Wiggly. There’s even a villain named Meany, there’s nothing nice about this obscure grizzly.

I've been searching for a home for my characters in news paper syndicates, comic books and greeting cards to no avail. In 2008, it wasn't until I sent my manuscript and drawings of Ferald to Michelle Glennon of GDG Publishing, that one of my creations was finally published.
