I was born and raised in the Alfama District of Lisbon, Portugal. Alfama is the heart and soul of the Portuguese people. I feel that I reflect this heart and soul through my paintings of Mediterranean life. I paint landscapes, florals, seascapes, and some abstract. I work with both oil and acrylic.
I have exhibited my artwork in the St. Augustine Art Association, and have won the "Pot'O Gold" Award there. I have also exhibited at the Energy Lab, St. Augustine, Fl; The Studio: Art and Movement Gallery, St. Augustine, Fl; Was the Featured Artist for November 2007 in The Abbott Tract Artists Gallery, St. Augustine, Fl. Exhibited in The Gallery Artfest, Duval Street, Key West, Fl; The Lyssa Morgan Gallery, Tampa, Fl; participated in the Says Auction,which was sponsored by the Energy Lab and Flagler College Rotaract; I was invited to exhibit at the City Hall of Casselberry, Fl. and participated in their "Ritmo Caliente" Latin Jazz Art Show (Exhibition: March 3rd to April 27th, 2007), and I was chosen to be one of the featured artists on their 2008 calendar (November 2008).
